All accommodation is based
on the sharing of twin rooms. Single occupancy rooms are usually
available at a supplement. This will depend on the tour and
the hotel that we are using.
We use hotels with en-suite facilities
and all are notable for their comfort, warmth and location.
Examples of hotels we have used in the past include the four
star Novotels in Ypres, Krakow and Caen and the three star
Best Western in Albert.
A medium sized coach is used for
groups of between 10 and 20 on our visit to Western Front
and Normandy battlefields. We use companies local to our base,
with whom we are familiar and with whom we have worked before.
We tend to use Eurotunnel for the channel crossing although
there are occasions when it is more convenient to use the
Dover – Calais ferry crossing
For our visits to Berlin and Krakow
we use a variety of airline companies and tend to fly from
London Luton or London Gatwick. Once in these locations we
use local coach operators.

It is a condition of booking that
travellers are covered by comprehensive travel insurance.
It is also essential that clients do not travel against medical
advice. It is recommended that insurance cover is in place
at the time of paying the deposit so as to provide cancellation
provision.
