Normandy Background Information

Few days in history can have been as pivotal as June 6th 1944. Join us as we retrace the steps of the 156,000 British, American and Canadian troops who took part in the fight to free Europe on that historic day.

On this journey you will have an opportunity to visit the British, American and Canadian landing beaches. The tour will focus on the incredible difficulties that were overcome in order to ensure the success of the largest amphibious landing the world has ever seen.

"Look how many of them there were, Look how young they were, They died for your freedom, hold back your tears and be silent. - Signboard - Omaha Beach Cemetery"

Please note We are happy to cater for groups and individuals who wish to walk sections of the landing beaches – feel free to contact us for further details. We will also visit specific graves or memorials that might relate to a family member or acquaintance.
