Battlefield Journey and Covid 19
Update December 2020
We are hoping to recommence our London walks in February 2021 and aiming to re-start our battlefield walks and cycles from mid - April 2021.
If you would like to make a reservation for one of our tours, we are happy to book you in on a provisional basis for a date in 2021. However, before any tour goes ahead, we will as ever be guided by the latest advice from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
Other than a deposit, at this stage we will not be seeking full payment until we are absolutely certain that a tour can go ahead. In any event, all monies from our customers are held in an independently managed trust account and so are 100% safe. If your holiday is cancelled by us you will receive a full and immediate refund or the opportunity to defer to another tour later in the year or in 2022.
It is a legal requirement for us to request that all clients have personal travel insurance before travelling with us. We advise checking your travel insurance to make sure that you are covered in case we are suddenly or unexpectedly prevented from travelling to areas where advice from the FCDO is not to travel.
If you are still unsure, our membership of the Travel Trust Association (TTA) means we can put you in touch with Rush Insurance Services who offer a range of Covid – 19 cover policies. Please contact us for more details.
Finally, we are trying to take a level headed and sensible approach to COVID-19. We understand that many customers remain unsure and worried about the prospect of travelling. We are happy to answer any specific queries you may have. We might not be able to give you an answer immediately but we will do our best to get hold of the best possible advice. Please feel free to contact us in the first instance via email (info@battlefieldjourney.com). If you would like to speak to someone in person, give us a ring and if we are not in, we’ll get back to you just as soon as we can and certainly within 24 hours.
